The primary role of a Creative Project Manager  is to clearly define and manage project scope while delivering creative solutions to national and marquee brands on scope, time and within budget. In this capacity, PMs are the connection point between clients and the internal creative and content development teams. As a creative project manager, you will work on a range of projects including (but not limited to) social, video, brand, interactive and experiential content.

You will:

  • Lead and manage all internal cross-functional teams during the project lifecycle

  • Create Scope of Work task, timeline, resourcing and budget development

  • Be the main connection point between the client and internal creative and content development teams

  • Work with members across departments to find creative solutions that consider client needs, as well as agency goals

  • Liaise with finance, operations and legal teams on project and client needs

  • Lead and schedule necessary project-related meetings such as kickoffs, brainstorms, and deliverable reviews

  • Provide mentorship to junior members of the team

  • Manage all vendor agreements and other contract documents

  • Report to various levels in the organization on resourcing, budgeting, and revenue realization

You have:

  • A bachelor’s degree or entrepreneurial street cred

  • 3-5 years of experience of post-college experience managing projects, coordinating teams, and/or other planning-related duties, preferably in the digital creative space.

  • Agency experience is a plus

  • A strong understanding of agency processes, including creative and video production, and an interest in optimizing those processes is a strong plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is arguably the most important skill for a creative project manager to have to effectively problem solve and collaborate with clients around budget, timelines, process & deliverables.

  • A cool, calm and collected approach to problem solving and conflict resolution. You know that project plans can change in the blink of an eye, and you’re prepared to take it in stride to find new, better solutions.

  • Energy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

  • Strong self-awareness and people-management skills

  • Understanding of relevant social media platforms and their requirements
