The ideal person for this role will have had proven success in roles that integrate recruiting, employee experience, and learning and development. They will have a strong point of view on what inclusion looks like in all areas of people practices and will be excited to bring this forth to Dagger. You will work directly with our SVP, Operations on all people and culture initiatives.

 

You are accountable for:

  • Championing a healthy, thriving values based culture at Dagger that aligns to our purpose, mission and vision.
  • Working with internal stakeholders to develop and drive People Operations related projects, programs and initiatives.
  • Overseeing the Dagger Experience cycle, including recruiting, hiring, employee experience, learning and development, and community engagement.
  • Leading always-on and creative recruitment tactics that allow Dagger to attract and engage with Atlanta’s top talent.
  • A foundational understanding of GA employment law and HR practices and policies.
  • Monitoring and responding to federal and state compliance emails and notifications.
  • Supporting new employees and third-party contractors throughout the onboarding and orientation process.
  • Managing the lifecycle of Dagger’s performance management process
  • Managing the People Operations annual budget.
  • Partnering with the Business Operations team to maintain employee records and relevant forms needed to hire and exit employees.
  • Overseeing People + Culture survey creation and administration.
  • Acting ethically and maintaining discretion related to confidential matters and sensitive data when serving as the point of contact for escalations.

 You are capable of:

  • Being an advocate, coach, and mentor to the team at large
  • Solving unforeseen problems as they arise in a focused and strategic manner
  • Communicating effectively and providing reliable, consumable information across all levels of the organization
  • Facilitating and leading meetings and presentations with clarity and confidence
  • Working well both independently and within a team
  • Maintaining strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure

Must-haves:

  • Proven success as an inclusive leader in a People Operations, People & Culture, or HR role.
  • Experience with creative recruitment.

Nice to have:
