Atlanta’s Fastest Growing Agency is looking for a Vice President to join its client partnership team. This is a very exciting role for an industry veteran looking to take their career to the next level. With a seat on the leadership team, this person will lead the business engagements between Dagger and some of the most recognized brands in the world. Brands include: IHG, The Coca-Cola Company, Boys & Girls Club of America and more.

The role will report to the CEO and have revenue & margin responsibility for roughly half of the agency’s revenue. In short, you drive organic revenue growth by: building and “leveraging” internal and external relationships, sussing brand’s business challenges to solve them with Dagger’s modern solution set while advocating for Dagger’s (and the brand’s) best interest -- especially when that means challenging clients.

What are we looking for in the role?

  • The role will have seasoned direct reports (Directors and Supervisors) who are looking for mentorship and leadership. You are their manager, leader and growth nurturer. Dagger’s culture is deeply rooted in fostering growth-minded talent. You understand the importance of building a diverse, motivated team and how it can have an outsized impact on the business.
  • A proven growth-minded leader with an entrepreneurial spirit. You bring a solution-minded approach to brands that has allowed you to develop & grow accounts from very little to something significant.
  • You possess a very solid understanding of today’s consumer and the types of modern marketing that are effective and award-winning.
  • You build deep relationships grounded in trust to be a safe haven for hard issues, externally and internally. Your counterparts will be (S)VP’s of Marketing, Sr. Brand Managers, and situationally, CMOs.
  • You know how to architect a compelling pitch, or an inspiring meeting with a client, and know what it takes to build & foster a great agency/client relationship.
  • You have a solid command of agency financials and can maintain healthy conversations with CFO-level leadership. This includes pipeline management, P&L levers, margin discussions, forecasting, budgeting etc.
  • Internal relationships are key for this role. You know how to navigate and broker these with finesse. These include key agency functions: project management, resourcing, operations, creative, production, strategy and media.


  • 12+ years agency or brand experience in client management or similar senior leadership roles.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills and strong presentation skills.
